Why Attend PHP UK Conference
Buy ticketsWhy come to a conference?
Attending conferences is the best way to help engineers level-up, letting you hear from talented speakers about better ways to build, test and deploy the things that power our organisations. Conferences provide a place for connecting with other software professionals, sharing challenges and learning about new tools to solve problems.
As well as the direct input a conference provides, it also offers a chance to break away from the day-to-day of work, fresh perspectives and new voices to speak into challenges or difficulties your team might be facing.
What makes PHP UK Conference special?
PHP UK is celebrating 20 years of training and making connections with software engineers from the UK and beyond. With two decades' experience running conferences, attendees can expect a warm welcome, hot coffee and great speakers across two tracks. It's located in the heart of the City of London in an eye-catching venue, easy to reach from most central tube lines. A great range of breakfast, lunch and snack options are available throughout the day, and there's also a pre-conference social which is another chance to connect with speakers & attendees.
Our speakers this year are some of the top in their field with a wealth of knowledge and experience being brought to the stage. This year's conference uses a 1-day format, making attending as easy as possible and with two tracks still offering plenty of content to learn from without spending your time swapping rooms or working out where to go next.
Who's this conference for?
If you're a team leader or manager, sending your team to a conference is a way to actively support their professional development and help them make connections that benefit your organisation in the future - and why not join your team and dive into some of the sessions yourself?
For engineers, the conference has something for all levels - whether you've just completed a bootcamp or degree, or been at this for over a decade, there's new tech and inspiring presentations, essential skills as well as challenges to know you're doing things the right way.
As well as covering PHP, the conference will discuss software architecture, BDD, continuous deployment, APIs and security - so at every level of the tech stack, any language speciality and across roles from team lead to DevOps, there's valuable lessons to learn and voices to hear from.
